Cleaning of shearling coat... cleaned it off now I have a hard shiny spot? - shearling coats

He wondered if the other person something with a sheepskin coat down, that I cleaned my coat. I spilled food on them, then cleaned with water, now that the area stiffer and lighter than the rest of the layer. All ideas on how to solve this problem? Thank you!

Try rubbing with an eraser or sponge. Water should never be used in leather or suede. These types of beds must always be dry.

You should consult an expert. There are places that used to clean leather and suede. You can not clean something on your own. They ruin. Shearling is expensive. Why are cheap by professionals, are cleaned?
